Jacksonville, AL

Jacksonville is a college town in eastern Alabama, home to Jacksonville State University and about 14,400 residents. It's 65 miles northeast of Birmingham via I-20 east to US 431 north, and 90 miles west of Atlanta on the same interstate. The university dominates the local scene, and the historic Bibb Graves Hall with its distinctive red brick and white columns has been the campus landmark since 1930.
