Ironton, MO

Ironton is the Iron County seat in Missouri's Ozark Mountains, about 90 miles southwest of St. Louis via Highway 21. The town sits where highways 21, 32, and 72 intersect among forested hills. Most visitors arrive on Highway 21 from St. Louis or use Highway 72 from Cape Girardeau. The 1893 Iron County Courthouse with its red brick clock tower anchors the historic town square.
