Highway 40 runs right through town, connecting it to Denver (100 miles southeast via Winter Park) and Steamboat Springs to the west. State Highway 9 provides access from Kremmling to the south. The historic Hot Sulphur Springs Resort still operates the original mineral pools that gave the town its name, with natural spring water maintained between 98 and 112 degrees year-round.
