Horseshoe Bend, ID

Horseshoe Bend is a small river town of about 760 people located 35 miles north of Boise along Highway 55. The scenic route follows the Payette River through forested hills and serves as the main corridor to McCall and central Idaho's mountain recreation areas. The town gets its name from a distinctive horseshoe-shaped curve in the Payette River that's visible from a roadside pullout on Highway 55.
