Homer is a small mountain town in northeast Georgia, about 75 miles from Atlanta via I-85 and US 441. Located in Banks County near the Appalachian foothills, it sits at the crossroads of State Routes 51 and 184. The town serves as a gateway to Chattahoochee National Forest and nearby Tugalo State Park. The 1908 Banks County Courthouse with its working clock tower still dominates the town square.
