Hitchcock, SD

Hitchcock is a tiny farming town in central South Dakota, 15 miles northwest of Huron on Highway 14. Most visitors pass through on their way between Sioux Falls and Pierre, about 70 and 100 miles respectively. The grain elevator towers over the surrounding prairie, serving as a landmark visible for miles across the flat farmland.
