Hebgen Lake Estates, MT

Hebgen Lake Estates is a tiny lakeside community of 85 people in southwestern Montana, about 8 miles north of West Yellowstone via US 287. Most visitors arrive from Bozeman (90 miles via US 191 south through Gallatin Canyon) or Idaho Falls (60 miles east on US 20). The community sits at 6,500 feet elevation with mountain weather and stunning lake views. The historic Hebgen Lake Dam from 1917 created this reservoir and remains visible from throughout the estates.
