Hanover, IL

Hanover is a small town of about 800 people in northwestern Illinois, roughly 15 miles from Galena via US Route 20. The main access is US 20 from either direction, with local roads connecting to nearby communities and Route 84 along the Mississippi River corridor. The town sits in the scenic rolling hills of Jo Daviess County, where the landscape differs noticeably from Illinois' typical flatlands. Its historic 1888 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a local landmark.
