Glenmora, LA

Glenmora is a small Louisiana town of about 1,300 people located 20 miles northwest of Alexandria on Highway 165. The main route in is US 165 from Alexandria, which connects to I-49 for longer trips. Most local traffic uses this same highway for daily commutes. The town sits in rolling hill country with mixed forests typical of central Louisiana. Glenmora hosts an annual Sawmill Days Festival each October featuring chainsaw carving demonstrations.
