Glencoe is a small city in northeast Alabama's foothills, about an hour from Birmingham via I-59 Exit 183. The town sits along US 278, which connects to Gadsden and other regional communities. Most visitors arrive from Birmingham or Atlanta, with local traffic using State Route 77 for daily trips. The area has limited EV charging, so plan stops in larger cities. Glencoe is famous for Noccalula Falls, a dramatic 90-foot waterfall cascading into Black Creek Gorge.
