Friona, TX

Friona is a farming town of 4,100 in the Texas Panhandle, 20 miles southwest of Hereford on US Highway 60. The main route runs east-west through endless wheat fields, continuing toward Clovis, New Mexico. State Highway 214 connects north-south to neighboring farm communities like Bovina. The massive grain elevator dominates the skyline, visible for miles across the flat prairie.
