About Friendsville, TN

Friendsville is a small mountain community in eastern Tennessee, about 15 miles southwest of Knoxville near the Great Smoky Mountains. US Highway 321 runs right through town, connecting it south to Maryville and north toward Knoxville and Interstate 40. Most visitors use this route when heading to the national park just a few miles east. McGhee Tyson Airport is about 25 miles southeast via US 321 and US 129. The town was named for Quakers who built a meetinghouse here in 1793.
