Flora, MS

Flora is a small Mississippi town of about 2,300 people in Madison County, just 20 minutes north of Jackson via Interstate 55. Highway 22 runs east-west through town, connecting to Canton and Yazoo City. The area features rolling hills where pine forests meet farmland, with Bruce Campbell Field airport nearby. Flora is home to the Mississippi Petrified Forest, where ancient stone trees preserve evidence of a prehistoric sea that once covered the region.
