Everest is a small farming town in northeastern Kansas, about 20 miles northwest of Hiawatha via Highway 116. Most visitors arrive on US-36, then head north on K-116. The rolling prairie landscape supports corn and soybean farming, with grain elevators marking the town's agricultural focus.
