Elliott is a small farming community in east-central Illinois with 258 residents, sitting along Route 9 in Ford County. The town is about 30 miles east of Bloomington via Route 9 and roughly 45 miles from Champaign-Urbana. Most visitors arrive on Route 9, which runs directly through town, or via county roads from nearby Gibson City and Paxton. The prominent grain elevator along the railroad tracks serves as the town's most recognizable landmark.
