Durant, a college town in southeastern Oklahoma, sits along US 69/75 about 90 miles north of Dallas. Home to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, it's accessible via major north-south and east-west routes including Highway 78. The city proudly calls itself the "Magnolia Capital of Oklahoma" and celebrates with an annual festival when hundreds of magnolia trees bloom each spring.
