Downingtown is a small Chester County city about 35 miles west of Philadelphia on historic Route 30. Take US-30 directly from Philly or Lancaster, or Route 322 from the north and south. The Pennsylvania Turnpike runs 10 miles north via Route 322. EV charging is available along the Route 30 strip. The town hosts the annual Good Neighbor Day festival each September, featuring a duck race down the Brandywine Creek.
