Doon, IA

Doon is a small farming town of 530 people in Iowa's northwest corner, near the Minnesota and South Dakota borders. Highway 9 runs east-west through town, connecting to Rock Rapids and Sioux Falls about 45 miles away. The area features rolling prairie farmland with a continental climate. The town's historic wooden grain elevator still operates today, serving local farmers just as it has for over a century.
