Des Arc, AR

Des Arc is a small river town of about 1,600 people in Arkansas's Delta region, 50 miles northeast of Little Rock along the White River. Take I-40 east to Lonoke, then Highway 70 northeast for the main route from Little Rock. The town serves the surrounding rice farming area and offers river access for fishing and boating. The 1907 Prairie County Courthouse with its working clock tower anchors the historic downtown.
