Davie, FL

Davie is a western Broward County suburb about 20 miles inland from Fort Lauderdale's beaches. I-595 runs along the northern edge, connecting to State Road 84 through the city center and US-441 on the eastern border. The Florida Turnpike provides highway access just west of town. Fort Lauderdale airport is 15 miles east via I-595, while North Perry Airport sits right in Davie. The city still requires hitching posts outside downtown businesses as a nod to its Western heritage.
