Danville, VA

Danville sits along the Dan River in south-central Virginia, about 45 miles south of Lynchburg near the North Carolina border. US Route 29 provides the main north-south connection through town, while US Route 58 runs east-west toward Virginia Beach and the mountains. The River District downtown features the Crossing at the Dan, a pedestrian bridge built with steel salvaged from an 1856 railroad bridge.
