This tiny Georgia town of about 100 people sits 20 miles southeast of Macon on Highway 96, serving as a quiet stop along the old Macon-to-Savannah stagecoach route. Most visitors arrive via I-75 Exit 146 at Jeffersonville, then follow Highway 96 west through rolling pine country. Historic road markers from the original stagecoach days still stand near the town center.
