Daisetta, TX

Daisetta is a small East Texas town of about 1,000 people located 40 miles northeast of Houston via I-10 and US Highway 90. The rural community sits in Liberty County's pine forests and farmland, accessible from Beaumont on US 90 west or via State Highway 146. In 2008, a massive sinkhole suddenly appeared near downtown, creating a 900-foot-wide lake that became an unlikely local landmark.
