This small Georgia town of 428 people sits along Highway 341, about 20 miles southeast of Macon and 80 miles south of Atlanta. Most visitors arrive via I-75 to Macon, then take Highway 341 south through rolling Piedmont hills and pine forests. The community lies along the historic Ocmulgee River corridor where ancient Native American trading routes once converged.
