Crawford is a small Texas town of about 1,000 people, located 20 miles west of Waco via Highway 185. Most visitors drive from Waco in 25 minutes, while longer trips typically route through I-35 and Highway 6. The area features rolling prairie hills with hot summers and mild winters. Crawford became nationally known as the location of President George W. Bush's Prairie Chapel Ranch, where he hosted world leaders during his presidency.
