Coshocton, OH

Coshocton sits where two rivers meet to form the Muskingum, about an hour east of Columbus via US-36. The town of 11,000 has decent highway connections, with Route 16 running north-south and Route 83 providing another path from Canton. Interstate 77 lies 20 miles east for long-distance travelers. The big draw is Roscoe Village, a living history museum that recreates 1830s canal life with period buildings and actual canal boat rides.
