Corona, NM

Corona is a tiny high desert town of 168 people in central New Mexico, sitting at 6,600 feet where grasslands meet the Capitan Mountains. It's located on US Highway 380, the main east-west route between Roswell and Carrizozo. From Albuquerque, take I-25 south to US 380 east for about 160 miles through scenic high country. The town serves as the gateway to the Very Large Array radio telescope complex.
