Chain Lake, WA

Chain Lake is a 5,000-person community in Snohomish County, about 30 miles northeast of Seattle in the Cascade foothills. Most visitors drive I-5 north then US-2 east, or take SR-9 through Snohomish and Lake Stevens. It's a 45-minute drive from Everett through forested county roads. The town sits among Douglas fir and hemlock forests typical of the Pacific Northwest's wet climate. Chain Lake features interconnected small lakes, with the main one having a 200-foot fishing dock.
