Carpio, ND

Carpio is a tiny farming town of 184 people about 15 miles northeast of Minot via US Highway 52 and County Road 14. Most visitors pass through on longer trips across North Dakota's plains, while locals make quick runs to Minot for shopping and services. The town's vintage grain elevator rises above the surrounding wheat and sunflower fields, visible for miles across the flat prairie landscape.
