Carnesville is a small town in northeast Georgia's Franklin County, about 90 miles from Atlanta via I-85 and Highway 17. The town sits along Highway 17, the main north-south route connecting Commerce to Toccoa, with Highway 145 providing east-west access. Carnesville hosts the annual Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In each fall.
