Canadian, TX

Canadian is a small Texas Panhandle town of 2,200 people located about 100 miles northeast of Amarillo on US Highway 83. The highway intersects with State Highway 60 downtown, connecting the agricultural community to Perryton, Pampa, and other regional centers. Most visitors arrive via these two main routes since the town sits away from major interstates. The Canadian River flows just south of town, creating a distinctive line of cottonwood trees against the surrounding wheat fields and grassland.
