Brookport, IL

Brookport is a small river town of 730 people in southern Illinois, right across the Ohio River from Paducah, Kentucky. Most visitors arrive via I-24 through Paducah, then cross the Brookport Bridge on US 62. Route 145 connects north to Metropolis for local trips. The town sits at a historic ferry crossing that operated for over a century before the current bridge was built.
