Blythe is a small Richmond County community about 15 miles southwest of Augusta, accessible via I-20 Exit 175 to Highway 88 south. Most traffic uses Highway 88 as the main north-south route, with local roads connecting to Augusta for work commutes. Augusta Regional Airport is about 20 miles northeast. The town sits along a historic stagecoach route with several preserved antebellum homes marking the old Augusta-to-Waynesboro corridor.
