Bloomingdale is a small city of about 3,000 people located 20 miles northwest of Savannah along Interstate 16. The town sits at a key junction where I-16, State Route 21, and US Highway 80 converge, making it a natural stopping point for travelers heading between Savannah and inland Georgia destinations like Macon or Atlanta. It's one of the few spots in coastal Georgia where you can easily access highways going in four different directions from the same location.
