Bloomburg, TX

Bloomburg is a small East Texas community of 330 people near the Louisiana border, surrounded by the pine forests typical of the region. State Highway 43 runs right through town, connecting to Marshall 25 miles south via US 59, and to Shreveport 40 miles east via US 80. The area sits in the historic Caddo Lake watershed, where ancient cypress trees create some of Texas's most distinctive swampland scenery.
