Blanding sits at 6,105 feet in southeastern Utah's red rock country, serving as a gateway to Bears Ears National Monument and Natural Bridges. Located on US Highway 191, it's about 75 miles south of Moab and connects west via State Route 95 to major national parks. The high desert climate brings hot summers and cold winters with little precipitation.
