Beckemeyer is a small farming town in south-central Illinois, about 50 miles east of St. Louis via Route 161. Most visitors take I-64 to Exit 61, then head west on Route 161. The town of nearly 1,000 sits in rolling agricultural country and hosts an annual Fall Festival at the elementary school each October.
