Bangs, TX

Bangs is a small central Texas town of about 1,600 people located 12 miles northeast of Brownwood on US Highway 67/84. The main route follows US 67/84 straight from Brownwood, while longer trips typically come through Comanche from the east or Cisco from the north. The town sits where the Hill Country meets prairie land, and its most recognizable landmark is the historic 1920s grain elevator that towers over the surrounding farmland.
