Bailey, NC

Bailey is a small Nash County town of about 400 people located along US Highway 264 between Rocky Mount and Wilson. Most visitors arrive via US-264 from I-95 (15 miles west) or from Wilson (12 miles southeast). The town sits in North Carolina's coastal plain among pine forests and former tobacco fields. Rocky Mount Wilson Regional Airport is about 20 miles west. Bailey's historic tobacco warehouses along the old railroad tracks remain as reminders of the area's agricultural heritage.
