Augusta is a small Ohio River town in northeastern Kentucky, about 90 minutes from Cincinnati via US-27. The historic community serves as Bracken County's seat and connects to nearby Maysville via scenic Route 8 along the riverfront. Founded in 1797, Augusta is Kentucky's second-oldest city and retains much of its 19th-century steamboat-era architecture in the downtown district.
