Arena, WI

Arena is a small farming town in southwestern Wisconsin, about 25 miles west of Madison via Highway 14. The main route passes through Spring Green and Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin area, continuing through scenic Driftless Area countryside. County roads connect to Highway 23 for access from Wisconsin Dells or Dodgeville. The town calls itself the "Gopher Capital of Wisconsin" and hosts an annual Gopher Count Festival each summer.
