Anthony is a small Kansas city on US Highway 160, about 45 miles west of Wichita at the junction with Kansas Highway 2. It's Harper County's main town and a convenient stop for cross-state travelers heading to Colorado or back to Wichita. The city still operates its original 1903 Carnegie library, one of the few remaining in Kansas.
