Algoma, WI

Algoma is a small lakeside city on Wisconsin's Lake Michigan shore, about 40 miles northeast of Green Bay via Highway 54 east to Highway 42 north. The scenic Highway 42 runs right through town, connecting Manitowoc to the south and Door County to the north. From Milwaukee, it's about 90 miles via I-43 north to Manitowoc, then Highway 42. The harbor still operates one of the few remaining commercial fishing fleets on Wisconsin's Lake Michigan coast.
