Alford, FL

Alford is a tiny community of 354 people in northwest Florida's Jackson County, about 60 miles from Tallahassee. Take State Road 2 from either Tallahassee via US-90 and Sneads, or from Alabama via US-231 and Campbellton. The rolling hills here look nothing like typical Florida terrain. One of the area's few active railroad crossings still sees freight trains rolling through town several times a week.
