Aldora is a tiny rural community of 82 people in Lamar County, about 50 miles south of Atlanta via I-75 and local roads. The area sits among rolling pine forests and farmland in central Georgia's agricultural heartland. Most visitors arrive via Exit 201 near Forsyth or State Route 42 from the east. The community lies remarkably close to Georgia's geographic center.
