Afton, MN

Afton is a small riverside town of about 3,000 people along the St. Croix River, 20 miles east of St. Paul. Take I-94 east to Highway 95 south, or use Highway 61 south through Newport to local roads. The scenic drive through the river valley takes about 45 minutes from Minneapolis. Afton State Park features four campsites positioned right on the river bluffs with sweeping views into Wisconsin.
