Upton Pyne is a small Devon village on the A377 between Exeter and Crediton, about 10 minutes north of the cathedral city. The main route runs through rolling countryside past the university, popular with commuters and visitors heading to mid-Devon. The village church houses a stunning 15th-century rood screen with carved figures that survived the Reformation.
