Upton lies deep in the Norfolk Broads, surrounded by waterways and reed beds. Most visitors drive from Norwich via the A47 eastbound, then turn north through Acle - about 20 minutes altogether. From Great Yarmouth, it's a similar distance westbound on the A47. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 50 fast charging points scattered around the area. The village sits beside Upton Broad, where a distinctive thatched boathouse has guided Broads navigators for more than a century.
