Upper Wortley forms part of west Leeds, perched on the Pennine slopes above the city. The A58 Whitehall Road provides the main route through the area, connecting to central Leeds and the motorway network via the A6120 Ring Road. It's a handy spot for reaching Leeds Bradford Airport, about 12 kilometers north. The area retains its connection to Farnley Hall Park, where visitors can still explore the atmospheric ruins of a 17th-century manor house set among centuries-old oaks.
