Union, AL

Union is a tiny Greene County community of about 200 people, located 60 miles southwest of Birmingham via I-20 west to I-59 south, then Route 69 north. From Tuscaloosa, it's a shorter 45-mile drive straight north on Route 69. The town sits in Alabama's historic Black Belt region along Satilpa Creek, surrounded by the area's characteristic dark, fertile farmland.
